Suspect wanted in $1,000 Nike theft

CrimeStoppers is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in connection with the theft of more than $1,000 worth of Nike merchandise.

River Region Loss Prevention Managers, a group within the Montgomery Police Department that discuss retail thefts, has captured a subject who they believe is responsible for the theft on video surveillance.

Loss Prevention said the subject, who is wanted on charges of theft of property first degree, has stolen merchandise from their stores on numerous occasions.

On one occasion, more than $1,000 of Nike merchandise was stolen and reported to police. Loss Prevention said the suspect will not stop when confronted.

If anyone can identify this subject, call Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP. Tips may lead to a Cash Reward.

They're not so much a fashion statement for fans in the stands, as much as a way for top athletes to relax and deliver a top performance unimpeded by glare or the physical and mental distraction of uncomfortable sunglasses.

To that end, they weigh less than an ounce and contact the head in fewer places than traditional eyewear. So even as Olympians are pushing their bodies to the brink, they'll ideally forget that they're even wearing these four-figure sun shields on their face.

Nike's Self-Lacing Hyperadapt 1.0 Silhouette Will Not Be Affordable for Most Sneakerheads

Following the reveal of its official release date back in September, Nike’s Hyperadapt 1.0 model now has an official price tag. The self-lacing silhouette will run you $1,000 USD and will release in three colorway options of Deep Black, Crisp White and Smooth Grey. Not your typical pricing for a pair of sneakers, the news follows the final auction for the $200,000 USD Nike MAG which incorporates the same power lacing system as the Swoosh’s Hyperadapt 1.0.
It’s safe to say that stepping into the future will cost you a pretty penny when the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0 will officially launch on November 28 in the three aforementioned colorways. Will you be adding the upcoming silhouette to your personal collection?
UPDATE: Nike has confirmed the price is actually closer to $720 USD with a release on December 1. The stock is also apparently limited upon release.

Nike may have started out as a sneaker company, but they also make gear that is flattering and fun to wear. If I had $1000 to spend on Nike gear, I would definitely invest in a pair of Zoom Sister One+ training shoes. These shoes are so light on your feet, they make strength training feel like a dance.

I would round out my $1000 with some hot pink training shorts for the girlish tomboy look as well as a hot pink Dri-Fit top to keep me cool when I am running hot.
